Support WGLT Workshops 365 - The Ultimate Digital / Interactive Platform

 Workshop Overview
My project is a community workshop that teaches supplemental classes. Our mission is to provide engaging community workshops that offer essential classes that are not taught in school or in my opinion just skimmed over. The subjects we offer are Civics, Coding, Black History, Finance, and Music. Using state-of-the-art smartboard technology, I have created a dynamic learning environment that enhances student engagement and understanding through interactive activities. This keeps the students engaged with the material and it helps them retain the information that is being taught. Because they tend to want to do it over and over again. We have partnered with Kahoot and Educaplay to make these courses more interactive and at your fingertips for self-development outside the workshops. My successful implementation in multiple schools in the Tampa Bay area highlights the effectiveness and positive impact of our approach.

Objectives
• Enrich Educational Experience: Provide students with knowledge and skills that complement their standard curriculum.
• Promote Inclusivity: Highlight the importance of diverse historical perspectives, particularly Black History.
• Encourage Civic Engagement: Foster a deeper understanding of civic duties and the functioning of government.
